Kaupapa

Koha Kai primary purpose is to create equity in community for those people challenged by disability.  Through empowering people towards independence and autonomy and creating a pathway to employment enables them to not just achieve that equity but to feel valued within their whānau and their hāpori.  Within that kaupapa we are supporting whānau to become food resilient, learning how to access food grown themselves through the ancient knowledge of Maramataka, Kaitiaki and Matauranga Māori - from seed to plate.
