Reigning Downs-Hauora Centre is a pioneering initiative led by a qualified educator with 16 years of experience. This unique centre combines education and equine experiences to enhance the Hauora of rangatahi. Emphasising the importance of Hauora to foster a sense of belonging among ranagatahi, Reigning Downs offers tailored courses that align with the New Zealand Curriculum and essential skills needed for adulthood. The courses are customised to meet the specific needs of each group, leveraging the benefits of positive equine experiences and educational expertise to enhance learning outcomes and provide therapeutic benefits. All programs are meticulously planned and implemented by a registered teacher with four years of middle management experience at a local high school.
