Kaupapa

Trinity Thompson-Browne is a self-publishing author and business owner focused on capacity-building rangatahi Māori in key industry skills such as editing, typesetting, and marketing. The publishing industry currently lacks the cultural capacity to adequately oversee the volume of Māori stories being told and produced. To address this, they work on building the skills of Māori people to enable them to tell their own stories without interruption or compromise.Their work spans research and representation—representing by doing and researching ways for Māori to exist outside, alongside, and within the publishing industry.
